Position Overview

The City of Guelph is in search of its next Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
In this role, you will report to and provide counsel to a Council comprised of the Mayor and twelve Councillors. The CEO is responsible for overseeing the administration and operations of the City, managing an operating budget exceeding $550 million, and offering strategic leadership and guidance to a skilled municipal leadership team.

  • Deliver excellence in programs and services that align with the Council's directives and the City's Strategic Plan.
  • Facilitate change and growth within a large and complex operational framework.
