Lead Sales Executive

This role reports directly to the Vice-President of Sales and is accountable for overseeing all facets of the sales cycle for designated clients within the specified module or vertical market segment. The Senior Account Executive serves as the main liaison for all proactive sales initiatives related to network services, IT professional services, IT managed services, and hardware IT products, while also managing the overall client relationship. This position collaborates with and provides support to various levels of sales and sales management. The individual in this role is tasked with identifying, qualifying, and successfully closing significant opportunities. Customer satisfaction, alongside financial metrics such as revenue and gross profit, will be directly influenced by the effectiveness of this position. The ideal Senior Account Executive will create and implement sales strategies to efficiently achieve sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and nurture relationships and account strategies to enhance revenues and/or gross profits within the designated module or vertical market segment, ensuring a high level of activity in accounts to meet planned outcomes.
  • Direct the overall sales strategy and coordinate relevant overlay sales and technical resources (e.g., Practice Leads, Technical Sales Engineers). Concentrate on identifying new solution opportunities, safeguarding existing revenue streams, managing internal and external communications, escalating pertinent challenges to management, and ensuring overall client satisfaction.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline and deliver precise forecasts to sales management regarding network and IT-related services and solutions.
  • Engage in account team reviews and strategy sessions aimed at preserving existing business and generating new revenue streams.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • Prior experience in managing large or strategic accounts is essential.
  • Experience in network services, IT professional services, IT managed services, and hardware-related IT products is preferred.

Education

A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, typically requiring four years of university education.
