About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Vice President, Sales to join our team at Stonewood Group Inc. as a key member of our executive leadership team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Sales Growth: Develop and execute strategic plans to drive continued predictable, profitable, global sales growth, meeting or exceeding business objectives.
  • Lead Sales Team: Directly or through leadership, deliver annual and monthly global sales forecasts and results, fill a reliable sales pipeline, and manage a backlog through optimized sales, business development, and distribution strategies.
  • Grow Existing Accounts: Engage in growing existing accounts and projects, increasing the company's market footprint by qualifying and profitably converting new opportunities.
  • Mentor and Develop Team: Lead, build, and mentor a highly motivated sales team, including developing and managing their compensation, training, and incentive plans, working closely with HR and Finance.
Other Responsibilities
  • Partner with Marketing: Collaborate with Marketing to ensure lead generation and promotional programs, and sales tools and training are developed to support the company's channels.
  • Customer Service: Work with the Customer Service team to ensure continued high customer satisfaction levels.
  • Business Intelligence: Ensure business intelligence is collected, disseminated, and acted upon, providing market feedback to support the company's product roadmap and program.
  • Sales Processes: Refine existing and introduce new sales processes and systems to help fulfill corporate objectives.
  • Company Spokesperson: Represent the company as a spokesperson to maintain and further enhance the company's world-class brand.
  • Strategic Planning: Help drive the development and communication of company strategic plans, and the creation, execution, and evaluation of corresponding operational plans.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 Years of Sales Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive sales experience in a channel-oriented, hardware-based, technology business, with at least 5 years of sales management experience.
  • Leadership Experience: Successfully led a sales organization of >$40M/yr revenues with substantial US-based focus.
  • Results-Oriented: Results-oriented, hands-on, adaptable style coupled with a willingness to learn.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the high-performance camera value chain, in industrial, scientific, and/or surveillance applications is a major asset.
