Position Overview

The Strategic National Account Executive is tasked with driving market expansion for national clientele across various sectors in Canada. This role demands a seasoned sales professional with a strong track record in securing new business, adept at engaging with high-level stakeholders, and possessing a keen business insight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve defined sales objectives
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to enhance lead generation efforts
  • Explore the market for potential new clients
  • Engage prospects through various communication channels to arrange meetings
  • Conduct executive-level presentations to showcase Rentokil Initial's offerings
  • Manage and update customer relationship management systems, including Salesforce, focusing on pipeline tracking and account details
  • Craft, price, and present proposals for innovative service solutions
  • Negotiate terms and finalize contracts
  • Identify and engage potential strategic partners
  • Foster and sustain long-term client relationships
  • Ensure uniformity across different sites and divisions
  • Participate in relevant industry associations and events

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • A minimum of five years of demonstrated success in sales with large, complex accounts, preferably in service sectors
  • Strong presence and communication skills suitable for boardroom interactions
  • Exceptional skills in prospecting, cold calling, and networking
  • Consultative selling expertise: ability to comprehend client needs and propose effective solutions
  • Experience in the service industry is advantageous
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25%
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to continuous learning
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
  • Training in Strategic/Consultative Selling methodologies, such as Miller Heiman, is a plus
  • Advanced negotiation and commercial skills
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
