About the Role

The National Account Manager position at Rentokil Initial is a key role that requires a seasoned sales professional to drive market growth and expand our national client base across Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver targeted sales results and meet or exceed revenue targets
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute lead generation strategies
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market canvassing and prospecting
  • Build and maintain relationships with C-level executives to promote Rentokil Initial's services and solutions
  • Manage and update CRM systems, including pipeline management, forecasting, and account prospect details
  • Design, price, and develop proposals for new service programs
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key customers to ensure long-term success
  • Ensure consistency across sites and divisions in terms of scope and services offered
  • Participate in targeted industry associations and events to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience with large, complex accounts and multiple locations
  • Strong board-room level presence and communication/presentation skills
  • Excellent prospecting, cold calling, and networking skills
  • Consultative selling skills, including the ability to listen, understand client needs, and position effective solutions
  • Experience in the services industry is preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • CRM experience, preferably Salesforce
  • Strategic/Consultative Selling training, such as Miller Heiman, is a plus
  • High-level commercial and negotiation skills
  • Valid Driver's License/Clean Driving Record
