Job Title: In-Room Dining Captain

Company Overview: Fairmont Chateau Whistler is a premier resort nestled at the base of Blackcomb Mountain in Canada. We provide exceptional ski-in, ski-out access during the winter months and a top-tier golf course in the summer, establishing ourselves as a year-round destination for outdoor enthusiasts. With five distinct dining venues, a slope-side Health Club, and 519 luxurious guestrooms and suites, we proudly hold the title of Whistler's largest conference resort hotel.

Position Summary: As the In-Room Dining Captain, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the In-Room Dining department, ensuring that our guests receive outstanding service while adhering to the Resort Experience standards. The starting compensation is $19.00 per hour, with potential increases based on your tenure.

  • Guarantee precise and prompt account processing
  • Foster a seamless departmental operation and maintain high employee morale
  • Oversee daily labor management
  • Provide training and mentorship to team members
  • Assist management and the Food & Beverage Division

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a supervisory role within the food and beverage sector
  • Prior experience in In-Room Dining is advantageous
  • Certification in Serving It Right
  • Exemplary leadership and motivational capabilities
