About the role

We are seeking a Full-Time Seasonal In Room Dining Server to become a vital part of our dynamic and diverse team at Four Seasons Resort & Residences Whistler.

Our work environment emphasizes a strong commitment to outstanding service and authentic experiences, combined with a focus on creativity and innovation. Hourly wage: $18.00

Responsibilities:

Deliver food orders to guest rooms, ensuring that all special requests are accommodated; verify completed kitchen orders with the order taker or the guest's original order, and transport items promptly to maintain food quality. Welcome guests, providing engaging descriptions of menu items, including their origins, flavors, and preparation methods; communicate options for tray and dishware removal, and respond to requests within established timeframes. Set up, clean, and break down room service tables, condiment setups, flatware, dishware, and room service side stations. Anticipate guest needs, assess satisfaction, offer suggestions, and promptly address any concerns or requests. Accurately close guest checks, securing room numbers and signatures; handle voided checks or complimentary meals appropriately. Adhere to Four Seasons' Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as outlined in the Employee Handbook. Foster a professional and harmonious work environment, collaborating effectively with colleagues and supervisors.

Qualifications:

Preferred background in Hospitality Education. Minimum of 2 years' experience in Food & Beverage, ideally in a luxury hotel or restaurant setting. Demonstrated knowledge and enthusiasm for all aspects of food and beverage. Proficient command of the English language. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, along with a commitment to customer service. Possession of the Serving it Right Certificate. Eligibility to work in Canada.

Schedule & Hours:

As our hotel operates 24/7, we expect our service staff to be flexible in working mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
