Master Halco , a premier manufacturer and distributor of fencing and perimeter security solutions, is on the lookout for a Sales Support Specialist.

The Sales Support Specialists engage with contractors, distributors, and retailers over the phone and at our branch's service desk to facilitate the purchase of fencing products.

Daily responsibilities for the Sales Support Specialist include:

  • Conducting discovery discussions with current and potential clients to identify products and services that Master Halco can offer to enhance their operations.
  • Proactively reaching out to existing clients via phone to generate orders for scheduled deliveries and to inform them about promotions and special offers.
  • Collaborating with the sales and operations teams to achieve sales targets and earn bonuses.
  • Demonstrating excellence in phone sales, data entry, and customer engagement.

Preferred experience or relevant product knowledge includes:

  • Building materials: metals, woods, plastics, hardware
  • Retail for Do-It-Yourself projects
  • Construction
  • Mechanical/Electrical

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the external sales team to broaden product offerings and customer reach.
  • Gather market insights from clients regarding competitive dynamics, pricing, and market conditions, and relay this information to the Branch Manager.
  • Respond to inbound inquiries from contractors and retail customers to efficiently process quotes and orders.
  • Provide ongoing support to clients/customers post-sale.
  • Prepare job order quotes based on customer requests and specifications.
  • Maintain communication with customers from order placement to shipment.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent work experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in customer service or sales
  • Exceptional phone and customer interaction skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly MS Excel
