About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Co-op to join our team at Magna International. As a key member of our HR department, you will provide administrative support in day-to-day activities, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.

Your Responsibilities
  • Assist with recruitment efforts, including reviewing resumes, conducting phone screenings, and coordinating interviews
  • Coordinate onboarding processes for new hires, including preparing new hire bags, conducting orientation, and collecting necessary documentation
  • Ensure compliance with new hire and termination checklists
  • Maintain office supplies and track inventory
  • Support the coordination of Conversation with Leader meetings, social events, and fundraising activities
  • Update emergency response evacuation lists, training, and orientation
  • Assist with maintaining department documentation, including employee files, and ensure compliance with document control and retention policies
  • Contribute to the development of monthly department meeting guidelines
