We are thrilled to announce an opening for the position of Demand Planner.

This role is situated within our dynamic team and reports directly to the Demand Planning Country Lead.

Role Overview

As a vital member of the Aliaxis demand planning team, you will be responsible for generating precise demand forecasts at the SKU level. This role involves collaboration with Sales, Product Management, and Supply Planning teams to ensure the accuracy of forecasts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and uphold a consensus demand forecast at the SKU level, incorporating intelligent adjustments from both internal and external data sources as necessary.
  • Oversee demand forecasting for a portfolio of over 2000 SKUs, including baseline generation, innovation, and management of various building blocks.
  • Analyze historical sales data and seasonal trends, investigate demand influencers, prepare forecast information, create statistical forecasting models, and assess forecast outcomes.
  • Lead the creation of a consensus forecast for new product launches from initial concept through to market introduction.
  • Work closely with Sales, Product Management, and Supply Planning teams to guarantee the highest level of forecast accuracy.
  • Document Supply Chain forecasts per key building block for integration into the monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process.
  • Maintain, analyze, and distribute monthly forecasting metrics; identify and address the root causes of deviations with the aim of continuous improvement.
  • Actively engage in IBP and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.
  • Collaborate with the Supply Planning team to identify and resolve changes in demand forecasts, implementing solutions to mitigate risks to customer service levels and potential lost sales.
  • Facilitate prioritization and decision-making in anticipation of product shortages.
  • Proactively identify, lead, and implement continuous improvement initiatives that enhance supply chain and organizational performance.
  • Create new dashboards and reports to support forecasting activities.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Finance, Operations, or Supply Chain Management.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in S&OP, Demand Planning, or sales forecasting is preferred.
  • Exceptional analytical, reporting, and organizational skills; detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Strong communication abilities and experience in stakeholder management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced skills in Excel and Power BI.
  • A self-starter with a proactive approach.
  • Familiarity with relevant computer systems such as SAP APO and IBP is advantageous.
