About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Planner to join our team at Aliaxis. As a Demand Forecasting Specialist, you will play a critical role in creating accurate demand forecasts for our products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain consensus demand forecasts at the SKU level, incorporating intelligence from internal and external sources as needed.
  • Manage demand forecasts for over 2000 SKUs, including baseline generation, innovation, and other building blocks management.
  • Review historical sales trends and seasonal trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
  • Participate in the development of a consensus forecast for new item launches from ideation to commercialization in-market.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Product Management, and Supply Planning functions to ensure accurate forecasts.
  • Accurately document Supply Chain forecasts for input into the monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process.
  • Maintain, analyze, and publish monthly forecast metrics, identifying and resolving the root cause of deviations to drive continuous improvement.
  • Actively participate in IBP and Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.
  • Work closely with the Supply Planning team to identify and resolve changes in demand forecasts, driving solutions to mitigate customer service level risk and lost sales.
  • Facilitate prioritization and decision-making in case of foreseen product shortages.
  • Take the initiative to identify, lead, and establish continuous improvement practices that improve Supply Chain and company performance.
  • Develop new dashboards and reports to support business decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Finance, Operations, or Supply Chain.
  • 5 years of experience in S&OP, Demand Planning, or sales forecasting.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and high organizational ability.
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced Excel skills and Power BI.
  • Self-starter with a willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
  • Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as SAP APO and IBP, is an asset.
