The Role: Director, Finance Data Strategy

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director, Finance Data Strategy to join our dynamic Financial Systems Team in Toronto. Reporting to the Vice President, Financial Systems, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our data strategy across all aspects of finance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy for finance, aligning with overall business objectives and industry best practices.
  • Lead the identification, analysis, and integration of relevant financial data sources to enhance decision-making and reporting capabilities.
  • Champion the adoption of advanced analytics and machine learning techniques to drive insights and optimize financial performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow and utilization across various departments.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in data management and analytics, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.

  • Deep understanding of financial data, analytics, and reporting methodologies.
