Job Description
We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our data strategy as the Director of Enterprise Data & Analytics. This role will be instrumental in transforming Apotex into a truly data-driven organization, leveraging insights to optimize operations, enhance product development, and improve patient care.
- Lead and Develop a High-Performing Team: Recruit, mentor, and guide a talented team of data professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Data Strategy & Roadmap: Define and execute a comprehensive data strategy aligned with Apotex's strategic objectives, encompassing data governance, infrastructure, analytics capabilities, and talent development.
- Data Product Development: Drive the development and implementation of data-driven products and solutions that address key business challenges and create new opportunities for growth.
- Analytics & Business Intelligence: Champion the adoption of advanced analytics techniques and business intelligence tools to empower decision-making across all levels of the organization.
- Data Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry best practices and regulatory requirements for data security, privacy, and integrity.
- Vendor Management: Negotiate contracts, evaluate service levels, and manage relationships with third-party vendors providing data-related technologies and services.
Qualifications:
- University degree in computer science, data science, analytics, or a related field (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain, Artificial Intelligence).
- 10+ years of experience leading and managing high-performing technical teams, delivering enterprise-grade solutions.
- Proven track record of implementing data products and services, with a deep understanding of data compliance and regulatory requirements in a corporate context.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
