Position Overview: Restaurant Operations Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated Restaurant Operations Supervisor to oversee our dynamic team at Hero Certified Burgers. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant and maintaining high standards of service.

  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Work Environment: Noisy, odors, wet/damp, hot

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Developing strategies to meet work schedules
    • Supervising and coordinating staff activities
    • Training team members on job responsibilities and safety protocols
    • Estimating required ingredients and supplies for meal preparation
    • Recruiting food service personnel
    • Ensuring adherence to food and service quality standards
    • Preparing financial budgets and cost estimates
    • Addressing customer feedback and complaints
    • Maintaining operational records and generating reports
    • Possessing knowledge of various culinary styles
  • Supervision: Overseeing a team of 5-10 individuals
  • Cuisine Specialties: Canadian
  • Area of Work Experience: Food services
  • Transportation/Travel: Public transportation available
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, ability to work under pressure, physical demands including walking
  • Personal Suitability: Strong client focus, excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication, teamwork, initiative, and reliability
