About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Atithi Pure Veg Restaurant. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the demands of our restaurant.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensure that our inventory levels are adequate to meet the demands of our restaurant.
  • Ensure Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and take corrective action when necessary to prevent any issues from arising.
  • Prepare Budgets and Reports: Prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
  • Communicate with Customers: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and ensure that their needs are met.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication skills, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
Working Conditions

Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods. You will be required to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and lift up to 25 pounds.
