About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Lena Restaurant. As a key member of our culinary department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and direct the activities of our food preparation and service staff to ensure seamless execution of our menu offerings.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide comprehensive training to new staff members, focusing on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management: Accurately estimate and manage ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and ensuring optimal stock levels.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food and service meet our high standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers and staff.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Prepare and submit detailed reports on stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth and improvement.
  • Culinary Knowledge: Possess in-depth knowledge of our culinary genres and menu offerings, enabling you to make informed decisions and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Assembly and Delivery: Supervise and inspect the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely and accurate service.
  • Scheduling: Establish and manage work schedules to meet the demands of our busy restaurant environment.

  • Work Under Pressure: Manage stress and pressure in a high-volume restaurant setting, maintaining a calm and composed demeanor.
