The Senior Marketing Manager, Strategy & Enablement will collaborate closely with the Director of Strategy & Enablement within the North American Personal & Business Banking Marketing division. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in strategic consulting, performance management of critical KPIs, annual planning, and executive-level presentations, alongside strong communication skills. Experience in marketing is not a prerequisite.

This role is pivotal in supporting strategic projects, crafting executive content, managing annual planning, and facilitating the office of the CMO activities for BMO's North American Personal & Business Banking (P&BB) Marketing team. The position necessitates close partnership with the CMO of P&BB and members of the P&BB Marketing Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to advance the strategic agenda of P&BB Marketing across planning, performance monitoring, and operational execution.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the assigned business/group.
  • Influence and negotiate to meet business objectives.
  • Assist in formulating strategic plans.
  • Identify emerging trends and issues to guide decision-making.
  • Engage in the execution of strategic initiatives across the organization by collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders as necessary.
  • Act as a relationship manager for assigned projects/programs, ensuring alignment with overarching enterprise and group goals.
  • Develop solutions and provide recommendations based on a comprehensive understanding of business strategy and stakeholder requirements.
  • Participate in project/program design, offering advice and subject matter expertise to achieve desired business outcomes.
  • Conduct necessary analyses to inform strategic recommendations.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide business context in the design, development, and implementation of programs and solutions.
  • Network with industry contacts to gather competitive insights and best practices.
  • Analyze strategic challenges, utilizing data and information to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Monitor and track performance, addressing any arising issues.
  • Develop change management plans of varying scope and lead or participate in diverse change management activities.
  • Identify enablers and key issues prior to and during implementation, raise concerns with stakeholders, and propose solutions to mitigate risks that may hinder delivery.
  • Focus primarily on the business/group within BMO, with potential for broader enterprise-wide responsibilities.
  • Provide specialized consulting, analytical, and technical support.
  • Exercise judgment to identify, diagnose, and resolve problems within established guidelines.
  • Work independently and manage non-routine situations effectively.
  • Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Typically requires 5 - 7 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Extensive knowledge and technical proficiency acquired through significant education and professional experience.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient influence skills.
  • Data-driven decision-making capabilities.

Salary: $74, $138,600.00

Pay Type: Salaried
