About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at 2493824 Ontario Ltd. as a key member of our culinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution

Develop and implement menus that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences.

Culinary Operations

Oversee the preparation and cooking of meals, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to perfection and presented in a visually appealing manner.

Inventory Management

Manage inventory levels of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet our culinary needs.

Team Leadership

Lead and motivate a team of cooks and kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that we deliver exceptional service and quality.

Quality Control

Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.

Health and Safety

Ensure that all health and safety protocols are followed, maintaining a clean and safe working environment for our team and customers.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience.

Skills

Excellent culinary skills, with a focus on menu planning, execution, and presentation.

Leadership

Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.

Communication

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.

Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position, working 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
