Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at 2493824 Ontario Ltd. as a key member of our culinary operations.

Job Summary:

The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing the planning, preparation, and presentation of meals in our kitchen. This includes coordinating special events, planning menus, and requisitioning food and kitchen supplies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinate special events and plan menus to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to ensure a smooth operation.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
  • Order supplies and equipment to maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Organize buffets and banquets to ensure a seamless experience for our customers.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Language:

English is the primary language of communication in this role.

Work Hours:

40 hours per week.
