Agricultural Client Relationship Manager

Position Overview:
As a key member of the Agriculture team within the Commercial Banking division at National Bank, you will play a vital role in supporting agribusiness clients with their financial endeavors.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic business growth initiatives tailored to your sector.
- Conduct comprehensive analyses of your client portfolio to uncover opportunities for customized advisory services.
- Foster strong, trust-based relationships with colleagues and collaborate effectively to address both corporate and client-specific needs.
- Negotiate client agreements to optimize profitability while ensuring mutual satisfaction.
- Stay informed about the unique challenges faced by various agricultural production sectors.
- Represent the Bank at industry events and with governmental and private organizations, engaging with key decision-makers in the agribusiness field.
- Ensure the integrity and quality of the loan and deposit portfolio.
Your Team:
In the Commercial Banking and Private Banking 1859 sector, you will collaborate with a team of specialists dedicated to the agriculture industry. You will have access to a network of experts to provide the best solutions for our clients.
Qualifications:
- A university certificate, bachelor's degree, or master's degree in a relevant field, complemented by applicable experience.
- Proven experience in the agriculture sector.
- Background in business development and managing client portfolios.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Membership in the Ordre des agronomes du Québec is an asset.
- Experience in the credit and banking industry is advantageous.
