What does this role entail?
This distinctive position leverages your sales acumen and innate problem-solving abilities to enhance every client interaction. You will assist clients with their daily banking, credit, and investment requirements. As a representative of RBC, you will provide value during critical moments for clients and collaborate with RBC partners to help them reach their financial objectives. Whether you are guiding a client through digital banking features, onboarding new clients, or referring complex inquiries to specialists, your expertise will play a vital role in creating impactful and memorable client experiences that foster satisfaction and loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage proactively with clients throughout the branch and community, identifying banking needs, offering assistance and advice, and uncovering sales and referral opportunities.
- Emphasize client education and demonstration, utilizing technology to create memorable experiences, drive sales, and retain business.
- Respond to client-initiated inquiries, providing assistance with a comprehensive range of financial transactions.
- Listen attentively and engage clients in discussions to better understand their unique needs.
- Take proactive ownership in resolving and preventing client banking issues.
- Build and maintain relationships with partners to maximize business opportunities and referrals.
Qualifications for Success
Essential Requirements
- Mutual Funds accreditation or a willingness to obtain it (e.g., Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course).
- A demonstrated commitment to client-centric service and success in a target-driven sales environment.
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills, with the ability to cultivate relationships and connect with clients proactively.
- Flexibility, a desire to learn, strong ethical standards, and a drive for success.
- Proficiency in digital tools across various devices (e.g., smartphones, tablets, laptops).
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French is required, as you will regularly assist clients with diverse language needs.
