Position Overview:

As a key member of the Agriculture team within Commercial Banking at National Bank, you will play a vital role in supporting agribusiness clients with their financial initiatives.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic business growth plans tailored to your sector.
  • Conduct comprehensive analyses of your client portfolio to uncover opportunities for customized advisory services.
  • Build and nurture trust-based relationships with colleagues and collaborate effectively to address both corporate and client needs.
  • Negotiate client agreements while optimizing profitability.
  • Stay informed about the specific challenges and trends within various agricultural production sectors.
  • Represent the Bank at industry events and with key stakeholders in the agribusiness community.
  • Ensure the integrity of the loan and deposit portfolio.

Your Team:

You will be part of a dedicated team of professionals specializing in the agriculture sector within Commercial Banking and Private Banking 1859. Our environment fosters collaboration and provides access to a wealth of expertise to help you deliver optimal solutions for our clients.

Qualifications:

  • University certificate or degree in a relevant field, or a master's degree with applicable experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in the agriculture sector.
  • Proven track record in business development and managing client portfolios.
  • Strong negotiation capabilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Membership in the Ordre des agronomes du Québec is an asset.
  • Experience in the credit and banking industry is advantageous.
