Exciting Opportunity for a Senior Leadership Role:

Ware Malcomb is seeking a Senior Director of Architectural Services to play a pivotal role in our leadership team. This position is essential for driving design excellence, fostering growth, and enhancing profitability within the architecture sector of the Toronto market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the financial management, business development, and operational oversight of the Architecture division.
  • Ensure that all client and consultant proposals and contracts are thoroughly prepared and executed.
  • Review and authorize all project budget reports prior to contract finalization.
  • Manage the organizational structure of the Architecture team, continuously assessing staffing needs in collaboration with the operations manager.
  • Oversee the overall operations of the Architecture division, working closely with the Operations Manager.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture, enhancing team morale and overall wellbeing.
  • Analyze monthly project revenue forecasts and provide necessary updates on a weekly basis.
  • Compile a comprehensive monthly business report and engage in regular management meetings.
  • Drive business development initiatives and cultivate client relationships to expand market presence.
  • Participate in networking events and establish regular meetings with industry contacts.
  • Utilize the Ware Malcomb CRM system to monitor all business development activities.
  • Evaluate team workload and participate in scheduling discussions.
  • Proactively address any project liability concerns.
  • Maintain strong communication with the team through scheduled meetings.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to attract and recruit new talent.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Architecture field.
  • Proven experience in a leadership capacity.
  • Strong background in developing and maintaining client relationships.
  • Extensive experience managing a variety of projects.
  • Ability to lead and nurture a collaborative team environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture is required.
