Job Summary

Ware Malcomb is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director, Architecture to join our senior leadership team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading our design efforts, driving growth and revenue, and managing a team of architects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the financial and operational aspects of the Architecture group, including budgeting, forecasting, and staff management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and revenue, including identifying new business opportunities and expanding our client base.
  • Lead and manage a team of architects, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the success of our projects.
  • Collaborate with our operations manager to ensure the smooth operation of our Architecture group, including managing office forecasts, financials, and staffing needs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners to drive business growth and revenue.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and excellence in our design work.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in a leadership role within the architecture field.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and revenue.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.
