The Field Adjuster plays a crucial role in the evaluation and management of insurance claims while actively seeking opportunities for business growth. This position requires effective marketing and timely follow-up on potential leads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of claims in areas such as Auto, Property, Liability, and Accident & Benefits, including Bodily Injury claims.
  • Utilize a university degree or relevant post-secondary education in insurance to inform decision-making.
  • Bring a minimum of 1-3 years of industry experience to the role.
  • Possess an Adjuster's license or be in the process of obtaining a CIP designation.
  • Consider equivalency in education and experience for eligibility.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous education and professional development.
  • Exhibit strong analytical skills to identify cause and effect relationships.
  • Maintain a professional investigative approach.
  • Effectively communicate findings and conclusions.
  • Interpret complex legal documents and perform advanced numerical analyses.
  • Have access to a suitable vehicle and maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Showcase advanced communication abilities, including:
    • Proficient written communication skills, including technical writing.
    • Strong oral communication skills, with an emphasis on listening, interviewing, and negotiating.
  • Display excellent organizational skills, prioritizing tasks effectively amidst competing demands.
  • Adopt a proactive and positive customer service approach, ensuring timely responses to inquiries.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal skills to navigate conflicts and challenging situations.
  • Commit to ongoing education and professional growth.
