The Claims Adjuster plays a crucial role in managing and resolving claims while optimizing business development prospects. This includes marketing initiatives and timely follow-ups on opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Preferred candidates should possess experience in at least one of the following areas: Auto, Property, Liability, Accident & Benefits, or Bodily Injury claims.
  • A university degree or relevant post-secondary education in insurance is required.
  • 1-3 years of professional experience is essential.
  • Possession of an Adjuster's license or actively pursuing a CIP designation is preferred.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be taken into account.
  • A commitment to continuous education and professional development is expected.
  • Strong analytical abilities, including the capacity to identify cause and effect relationships.
  • Effective investigative skills.
  • Aptitude for drawing valid conclusions and communicating them clearly.
  • Ability to interpret complex legal documents and perform advanced numerical calculations, including comparative analysis.
  • Access to a suitable vehicle is necessary.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
  • Advanced communication skills, including:
    • Proficient written communication skills, including technical writing.
    • Strong oral communication skills, including listening, interviewing, and negotiating, with the ability to adapt style to the audience.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage competing demands effectively.
  • A proactive and positive approach to customer service, ensuring timely resolution of inquiries.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to manage conflict and challenging situations effectively.
