Position: Field Adjuster, Full-Time

The Field Adjuster plays a crucial role in managing and resolving claims while optimizing business development prospects. This includes effective marketing and timely follow-up on opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively adjust claims in various sectors including Auto, Property, Liability, and Accident & Benefits.
  • Engage in business development initiatives to enhance client relationships.
  • Conduct thorough investigations and analyses to determine claim validity.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: Auto, Property, Liability, Accident & Benefits, or Bodily Injury claims.
  • A university degree or relevant post-secondary education in insurance is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Possession of an Adjuster's license or actively pursuing a CIP designation.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
  • A commitment to continuous education and professional development.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify cause and effect relationships.
  • Excellent investigative skills and the ability to draw valid conclusions.
  • Proficient in interpreting complex legal documents and performing advanced numerical calculations.
  • Access to a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to listen, interview, and negotiate effectively.
  • Demonstrated organizational abilities to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
  • A proactive approach to customer service, ensuring timely responses to inquiries.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to handle conflicts and challenging situations effectively.
  • A dedication to ongoing education and learning.
