Position: Field Adjuster, Full-Time
The Field Adjuster plays a crucial role in managing claims while optimizing business development prospects. This includes the promotion and timely follow-up of opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Preferred candidates should possess experience in one or more of the following areas: Auto, Property, Liability, Accident & Benefits, Bodily Injury claims.
- A university degree or relevant post-secondary education in insurance is required.
- At least 1-3 years of professional experience is necessary.
- Possession of an adjuster's license, or actively pursuing a CIP designation.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be evaluated.
- A commitment to continuous education and professional development is essential.
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to identify cause and effect relationships.
- Proficient investigative skills.
- Capable of drawing valid conclusions and effectively communicating them.
- Adept at interpreting complex legal documents and performing advanced numerical calculations, including comparative analysis.
- Access to a suitable vehicle is required.
- A valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record are mandatory.
- Exceptional communication skills, including:
- Strong written communication abilities, including technical writing.
- Effective verbal communication skills, encompassing listening, interviewing, and negotiating, with the ability to adapt style to the audience.
- Demonstrated organizational capabilities with the ability to prioritize and manage competing demands effectively.
- A proactive and positive approach to customer service, ensuring all inquiries are addressed promptly.
- Strong interpersonal skills to navigate conflicts and challenging situations effectively.
- A solid commitment to ongoing education and professional growth.
