Overview
This position serves as an HR generalist, blending both tactical and strategic responsibilities aimed at enhancing employee engagement and growth. The role is situated in larger warehouse environments or densely populated areas, necessitating a high level of interaction and customer service. The onsite HR representative collaborates closely with operational teams to provide comprehensive support to employees throughout their employment journey.

Compensation: The salary for this position ranges from $65,000 to $75,000.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with HR Business Partners to execute HR strategies focused on employee engagement and retention, equipping managers with essential tools and training.
  2. Provide HR support to leadership on daily operations and significant initiatives, encompassing training, coaching, and development.
  3. Act as a liaison between Employee Relations and management, offering guidance on HR matters and managing requests through the HR system.
  4. Assist managers with hiring, termination, and other employee-related changes, ensuring accurate data entry and effective onboarding.
  5. Conduct proactive employee relations initiatives, including surveys and one-on-one meetings, and lead investigations while collaborating with Business Agents on grievances.
  6. Leverage analytics and workforce trends to inform decisions that enhance organizational processes and programs.
  7. Interpret and apply HR policies consistently, ensuring compliance with all HR protocols.
  8. Work with operations to develop and implement innovative strategies to boost employee retention.
  9. Partner with the recruiting team to ensure timely recruitment of top talent, developing a Staffing Plan based on growth and workforce analytics.
  10. Coordinate development programs such as Leadership and Management Training.
  11. Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations in collaboration with HR Compliance.
Additional Duties
  1. Promote the adoption of HR technology at the location.
  2. Engage with agency partners as necessary.
  3. Organize hiring events and collaborate with educational institutions as needed.
  4. Support a diverse and inclusive workplace culture.
  5. Perform other assigned duties as required.
Skills and Qualifications
  1. Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  2. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and adapt to changing work conditions.
  3. Proficient in building effective working relationships with employees, managers, and HR teams.
  4. Strong conflict resolution skills with an impartial approach during investigations.
  5. Professional demeanor with a positive communication style.
  6. Effective active listening skills with the ability to seek appropriate resolutions.
  7. Strong organizational and time management skills, with expertise in areas such as benefits and compensation.
  8. Ability to train others on technology and case management systems.
  9. Excellent collaboration and team-building capabilities.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in HR or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  2. A minimum of two years in employee relations or a similar HR role.
  3. A minimum of two years in HR generalist functions or related areas.
