This position serves as an HR generalist that encompasses both operational and strategic responsibilities, aimed at enhancing employee satisfaction and growth. It demands a high level of engagement and a customer-centric approach, requiring the onsite HR professional to collaborate closely with operational teams to support our workforce. This HR partner is well-versed in various aspects of human resources, including employee relations, performance management, talent development, succession planning, and compliance with labor laws. They act as business allies to the management teams throughout the employee lifecycle.
Compensation: The salary for this position ranges from $65,000 to $75,000.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborates with HR Business Partners to execute and implement HR strategies that prioritize employee engagement and retention. Aids HRBP in equipping managers with the necessary tools and training to enhance their effectiveness.
- Provides HR support to leadership on daily operational issues and larger projects, including training, coaching, and development initiatives.
- Acts as a liaison between Employee Relations and management, offering recommendations and guidance on HR matters, including submitting requests through the HR system as needed.
- Assists managers with all processes related to hiring, termination, and other employee data changes, ensuring accurate entry into the HR system. Guarantees effective onboarding and training for new hires.
- Conducts proactive employee relations activities through various methods such as surveys and one-on-one meetings. Leads employee relations initiatives, providing coaching and support during investigations. Works with Business Agents to address grievances and other local issues as necessary.
- Utilizes data analytics and workforce trends to inform decisions that enhance organizational processes and programs.
- Communicates, interprets, and consistently applies HR policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to all HR processes.
- Partners with operations to identify, create, and implement innovative strategies aimed at improving employee retention.
- Collaborates with the recruitment team to ensure timely hiring of qualified candidates. Works with both recruiting and operations to develop a Staffing Plan based on growth and workforce analytics.
- Coordinates development initiatives such as leadership programs.
- Works with compliance teams to ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Promotes the adoption of HR technology at the location.
- Engages with agency partners as required.
- Organizes hiring events and collaborates with local educational institutions as needed.
- Supports a diverse and inclusive workplace environment.
- Performs other responsibilities as assigned.
- Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of efficiently responding to electronic communications.
- Able to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and adapt to changing work conditions.
- Capable of establishing and maintaining productive working relationships with employees, managers, and HR teams.

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in HR or a related field, or an equivalent of four years of relevant experience.
- A minimum of two years of experience in employee relations or a similar HR function.
- A minimum of two years of experience in HR generalist roles or comparable functions.
