Overview

The Pane Fresco Pizza & Bread Department plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional quality food and service to our customers. As the Manager, you will oversee the department's operations, focusing on maximizing sales and profitability while ensuring that customer satisfaction remains a top priority.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service to uphold our reputation for a friendly and personalized shopping experience.
  • Manage the ordering, production, and presentation of all pizza and bread items, ensuring visually appealing displays to drive sales.
  • Develop daily production plans to offer a diverse selection of products while efficiently organizing all department functions.
  • Monitor inventory levels and implement pricing strategies to meet sales targets and minimize losses.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor department staff, ensuring they adhere to company standards.
  • Handle the opening and closing procedures of the department effectively.
  • Maintain equipment and ensure the production area meets safety and sanitation standards.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies.
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Uphold company policies and collective agreements in all operations.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support the department.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the hot foods sector, including at least 3 years in a management role within a restaurant or fast food setting.
  • Previous experience in managing production schedules is advantageous.
  • Food Handler Certification is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
