Overview

The Pane Fresco Pizza & Bread Department is essential to our commitment to providing high-quality food options. The manager will oversee the daily operations, focusing on maximizing sales and profitability while ensuring that customers receive the finest products and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service, fostering a welcoming and friendly environment.
  • Manage the ordering, production, and presentation of all pizza and bread items, ensuring appealing displays to boost sales.
  • Create daily production plans to maintain a diverse selection of products, prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Control inventory levels through strategic pricing and signage to meet sales and profit objectives.
  • Supervise, train, and schedule department staff, ensuring a well-functioning team.
  • Handle the opening and closing procedures of the department.
  • Maintain equipment and uphold safety and sanitation standards in compliance with company policies.
  • Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and participate in audits.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Enforce company policies and ensure compliance with collective agreements.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • Strong customer service abilities.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the hot foods sector, including at least 3 years in a management role within a restaurant or fast food environment.
  • Previous experience in managing production schedules is advantageous.
  • Food Handler Certification is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
