Overview

The Pane Fresco Pizza & Bread Department plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality food products while ensuring exceptional customer experiences. The individual in this position will oversee the operations of the department, focusing on maximizing sales and gross profit while adhering to company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service to maintain a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
  • Manage the ordering, production, and presentation of all pizza and bread items, ensuring appealing displays to boost sales.
  • Develop daily production plans to provide a diverse selection of products and efficiently organize all departmental functions.
  • Control inventory effectively through strategic pricing and signage to meet sales and profit objectives.
  • Schedule, supervise, and train department staff, ensuring all new employees receive proper onboarding.
  • Handle the opening and closing procedures of the department.
  • Maintain equipment and ensure the safety and cleanliness of production areas in compliance with company policies.
  • Uphold food safety standards and regulations through regular audits and compliance checks.
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly, fostering positive customer relations.
  • Interpret and enforce company policies while ensuring adherence to collective agreements.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary to support department operations.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the hot foods sector, with at least 3 years in a management role within a restaurant or fast food environment.
  • Previous management experience and familiarity with production schedules are advantageous.
  • Food Handlers Certification is preferred.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
