Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract Management professional to join our team at the Nuclear Waste Management Organization. As a Senior Contract Management Specialist, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing our organization's contract management strategy, ensuring compliance with best practices and corporate governance standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement contract management strategies to ensure effective oversight and execution of contracts.
  • Provide expertise on contract development, negotiation, and administration, including strategies for risk management and dispute resolution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project controls and contracting strategies.
  • Lead contract negotiations and dispute resolution efforts, ensuring effective communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of contracts, including contract change management and close-out procedures.
  • Provide guidance and support to the Commercial Management team on contract administration and compliance.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Construction/Project Management, or related field.
  • Over 10 years of experience in contract management on mega-projects, developing contracting strategies, scope development, evaluation criteria, and project management and project controls requirements.
  • Experience developing, managing, and closing out large contracts (> $1b) preferably multidisciplinary contracts (EPC/EPCM, Partnership/Alliance/IPD agreements).
  • Excellent planning and contract management skills, with proven organizational skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to influence others at all levels of the organization.
