Our flagship product, the WatchPAT family, is a groundbreaking FDA-cleared portable home sleep apnea testing device, utilizing proprietary signal processing and analysis. With 80% of sleep apnea cases remaining undiagnosed, we are committed to reaching these patients and providing essential testing to enhance wellness and overall quality of life. Our products are available in major markets, including the U.S., Japan, and Europe, with the WatchPAT being the leading home sleep apnea test in the U.S.
Position Summary:
The National Clinical Sleep Solutions Manager (NCSSM) is tasked with supporting the U.S. Field Sales Organization as the subject matter expert in ZOLL Itamar's sleep technology. This role involves providing expertise to Clinical Sales Specialists (CSS) and assisting the Director of Clinical Programs in internal training and team effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Marketing Support: Act as the technical authority, collaborating with the local CSS team to educate healthcare professionals on PAT technology.
- Training Delivery: Conduct customer training sessions to empower healthcare workers in the effective use of WatchPAT, CloudPAT, and zzzPAT.
- Field Support: Assist the field team with key technology strategies and ensure successful product rollouts.
- Account Implementation: Provide expert support for ongoing account implementations.
- Market Awareness: Stay informed on current trends and serve as the go-to expert for the sales team.
- Client Engagement: Travel as necessary to engage with physicians and office staff, addressing their clinical needs and demonstrating how Itamar Medical's products can meet their objectives.
- Product Evaluations: Support the CSS team with product evaluations and demonstrations for potential customers.
- Customer Relations: Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, developing creative solutions in collaboration with relevant personnel.
- Presentations: Deliver clinical presentations and represent Itamar at trade shows and seminars.
- Communication: Maintain daily communication with colleagues regarding market developments and customer needs.
Reporting and Administration:
- Report any customer conflicts to the Director of Clinical Programs.
- Identify training needs for facilities and staff and communicate them to Area Business Directors.
- Submit required reports punctually.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS Degree in Cardiovascular, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Exercise Physiology, or Nursing required.
- Completion of an accredited respiratory care program preferred.
- Experience with VA hospitals or large managed care organizations is advantageous.
- A minimum of five years in a clinical medical field as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist is preferred.
- Hospital or clinic-based experience is preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
- Maintain a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist certification.
- Demonstrated success in providing clinical and relationship management support.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Exceptional communication skills to keep all stakeholders informed.
- Familiarity with clinical reimbursement and managed care policies is desirable.
- Ability to make sound business judgments and decisions.
- Willingness to travel 50% or more.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.

Travel Requirements:
Willingness to travel is essential, with an expectation of 50% or more.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands of this role include occasional standing and walking, with constant sitting and frequent repetitive motions.
Compensation:
Base Salary of $120k, plus commission.
