- Adhere to project delivery protocols to ensure cost-effective completion while meeting client standards and quality benchmarks
- Oversee and manage projects through all stages: initiation, planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closure
- Create and monitor project plans, utilizing charters, management plans, risk assessments, schedules, budgets, cash flows, procurement strategies, quality assurance plans, and communication frameworks
- Navigate changes throughout the project lifecycle; address unforeseen challenges and delays effectively
- Lead a multidisciplinary team, including engineering, procurement, stakeholder engagement, environmental, safety, Indigenous Relations, and internal project delivery personnel
- Supervise the engineering design review process; ensure compliance with project specifications, client requirements, regulatory standards, and long-term operational needs
- Provide progress reports and status updates to both internal and external stakeholders
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, managing priorities, risks, and mitigation strategies
- Identify and execute necessary actions to secure relevant regulatory and external approvals/permits
- Oversee the competitive procurement process and manage contract administration post-award
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, business, or economics
- Licensed professional engineer in British Columbia & Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- At least 10 years of consulting experience in project management for utility and municipal infrastructure projects
- Extensive technical knowledge and experience in managing utility and municipal infrastructure projects
- Proven ability to lead projects independently while fostering collaboration within the project team
- Proficient in reviewing and approving engineering documentation; capable of interpreting electrical, mechanical, and civil drawings and design reports
- Strong planning, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication, facilitation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills in English
- Solid understanding of finance and procurement to provide technical coordination and input
- Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with project management tools like MS Project

Compensation:
Compensation packages are tailored based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skills, experience, qualifications, and other job-related considerations. We are seeking candidates within the median salary range of $110,000 – $145,000, based on the outlined requirements.
