Join our team as a Lead Project Manager within the Vancouver Business Unit.

We seek exceptional project leaders who are methodical, detail-oriented, and have successfully managed complex projects from inception to completion – ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints within our British Columbia business unit.

Your ability to cultivate strong, trusting relationships with clients and your talent for assembling the right team to generate innovative ideas and solutions will be crucial.

To excel in this role, you will bring extensive experience in project leadership and demonstrate a diverse portfolio showcasing varying scopes and complexities, particularly in the delivery of building and facility projects within healthcare, education, or mixed-use sectors.

Establish robust client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle to achieve the client's objectives.

# Manage a variety of facilities and building projects, differing in size and scope.
# Ensure that client expectations and satisfaction are consistently met or surpassed, representing the client's best interests concerning contractual and technical matters.
# Assemble and organize project teams, defining levels of authority and communication channels.
# Oversee the management of project-related documentation and ensure all deliverables comply with Colliers Project Leaders' Quality Management System and procedures.
# Facilitate project and site meetings, resolve issues, and coordinate among multiple stakeholders.
# Provide regular updates on project status through schedule revisions, meeting minutes, financial records, and other relevant reports.
# Offer guidance and leadership throughout the change management process, payment certifications, and other administrative documents related to contracts or projects.

A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Project Manager, representing owners to various stakeholders in the execution of projects of diverse sizes and scopes across sectors such as institutional, healthcare, educational, or commercial mixed-use.

# A university degree or diploma in engineering, architecture, or quantity surveying (or an equivalent combination of academic and practical experience).

In-depth knowledge of various construction methodologies, project management frameworks, and financial oversight, along with familiarity with building codes, contract law, and relevant legislation.

Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills with the capacity to effectively influence others and adeptly resolve a range of client, project, and technical challenges.

# Proficient computer skills, including a working knowledge of scheduling (MS Project), word processing (Word), and spreadsheet (Excel) software applications.
