We are in search of a Lead Project Coordinator with a background in technology professional services and comprehensive client lifecycle experience, including pre-sales support, Discovery and Planning, and Project Delivery. Experience in a tech startup as a Product Owner/Manager is highly advantageous.
Pre-sales Project Coordination (20%):
Engage with sales and technical teams to gather requirements, estimate efforts, devise resource plans, and formulate proposals.
Develop Statements of Work (SoW) to delineate project scope, assumptions, resources, constraints, budget, and timelines.
Project Coordination (30%):
Oversee Discovery and Planning phases, facilitating client workshops, defining business requirements, and crafting project plans and SoWs.
Direct cross-functional teams during the Delivery/Build Phase, ensuring timely, budget-conscious, and quality project execution.
Serve as the primary liaison for clients, managing communications, decisions, and risks to guarantee high satisfaction for both clients and teams.
Employ Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban) with 2-3 week Iterations/Sprints.
Collaborate with the executive team to conduct market analysis, define problem statements, develop go-to-market strategies, and create product roadmaps.
Work alongside cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize requirements, maintain backlogs, and ensure timely and quality product releases.#
3-5 years of project coordination experience in technical professional services and digital initiatives.
~ Experience in tech startups as a Product Owner/Manager.
~ Proven ability to deliver complex projects on schedule and within budget while fostering effective client and team relationships.
~ Strong analytical and financial skills for forecasting revenue, expenses, and project milestones.
Pro-social motives, technical expertise, independence, adaptability, agility, collaboration, and outstanding communication skills are essential.
Experience in XR/VR or emerging technologies, AI, employee training and onboarding, and the financial services sector is preferred.
Scrum Master, Product Owner/Manager certifications are a plus.
Candidates for this role must reside in BC, Canada. While remote work is available, in-person meetings and travel within Canada and the United States may be required.
Reports to the CEO with a dotted line to the Head of Technology.
Compensation ranges from CAD $100K—$125K annually, based on skills, experience, and market data.
