About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Vancouver Business Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading complex projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their single point of contact throughout the project.
  2. Project Delivery: Work on multiple facilities and building projects, varying in size and scope, to ensure client expectations are met or exceeded.
  3. Team Management: Select and organize project teams, establishing levels of authority and communication.
  4. Document Control: Lead the control of project-related documents and deliver all work in accordance with our Quality Management System.
  5. Meeting Coordination: Chair project and site meetings, resolving issues and coordinating between stakeholders.
  6. Business Development: Maintain contact with existing and prospective clients, responding to business development opportunities.
  7. Reporting: Regularly report on project status through schedule updates, meeting minutes, financial records, and other reports.
Requirements
  1. A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Project Manager, representing owners to multiple stakeholders in the delivery of projects of varying size and scope.
  2. A university degree or diploma in engineering, architecture, or quantity surveying (or an equivalent combination of academic and practical experience).
Desirable Skills
  1. Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project management models, and financial management.
  2. Effective leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to influence others and resolve client, project, and technical issues.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  4. Strong computer skills, including a working knowledge of scheduling, word processing, and spreadsheet software applications.
