Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Child Development Team Coordinator to join our team at the Government of Northwest Territories. The successful candidate will lead the child development team in the implementation of service and case management, incorporating best practice, consultative feedback from stakeholders, and service navigation throughout the Northwest Territories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the child development team in the implementation of service and case management
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including community health nurses, schools, community agencies, and other healthcare professionals
  • Provide expert knowledge and guidance on childhood development, common developmental disabilities, and GNWT childhood and disability initiatives
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the provision of a holistic service to children
  • Develop and implement integrated service delivery models to support children with special needs
Requirements

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a rehabilitation discipline and 3 years of clinical experience in pediatric rehabilitation. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
