Regional Supervisor, Child and Family Services Manager

The Government of Northwest Territories is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Supervisor, Child and Family Services to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading a team of Family and Community Social Workers in Inuvik, Fort Smith, and Norman Wells.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and lead a team of Family and Community Social Workers to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to clients and families.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
- Provide guidance and support to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
- Ensure the effective management of resources, including budgeting and personnel management.
- Bachelor's degree in social work and three years of related work experience, with at least one year of direct supervisory experience, OR
- Diploma in social work and five years directly related work experience with at least two years of direct supervisory experience.
- Completion of a Master in Social Work would be an asset.
- Must meet the GNWT Professional Registered Social Worker Requirement.
- Must be eligible for appointment as a Child Protection Worker.
- A competitive salary range of $53.80 per hour to $64.26 per hour (approximately $104,910 - $125,307) plus an annual Northern Allowance of $14,661.
