Position Overview:

As a key member of the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Program Development Unit (Center of Excellence – COE), the Internal Program Manager will serve as the internal authority on our relationships with OEMs. This role encompasses various responsibilities, including managing legal documentation, standardizing needs assessments, and communication strategies with manufacturers, as well as analyzing client requirements to deliver comprehensive and tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and update legal documentation related to the program.
  • Facilitate the credit approval process for new OEM program floorplan segments.
  • Collaborate with the SFE team to create effective results tracking tools.
  • Establish a regular operational cadence with division VPs and Team Leaders to review program outcomes (per dealer) and address inquiries, concerns, and improvement opportunities.
  • Work alongside the marketing team to develop standardized presentation templates for sharing with OEMs and dealers.
  • Conduct market research on potential new OEMs in Canada and the US, coordinating initial outreach and meetings with the COE Leader.
  • Assist the COE Leader and External Program Manager in business development initiatives.
  • Manage annual credit renewals for existing OEMs.
  • Organize monthly discussions to present results to Account Managers covering dealers within each program, sharing success stories and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Master the subsidy request process, providing support to the team, dealers, and OEMs as needed.
  • Prepare monthly reviews of the OEM portfolio for the Senior Leadership Team, highlighting performance metrics and business development activities.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 3-5 years of experience in equipment financing.
  • Proven experience in managing relationships with manufacturers and/or enhancing sales force effectiveness.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French is an asset, enabling service to clients across all Canadian provinces.
  • Strong financial and business analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Results-driven and action-oriented mindset.
