Position Overview:
Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations, this role is pivotal in establishing new business collaborations by promoting the services of Highline Forming Inc. As you advance in this position, you will play a crucial role in expanding and enhancing the sales team. Your primary responsibility will be to achieve the overall revenue targets of the company while providing contractual guidance to facilitate business development objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and communicate a strategic vision for sales, focusing on diversification and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Operations to formulate a comprehensive 1-5 year business development strategy aimed at driving sustainable growth.
  • Identify and nurture client relationships, executing business development strategies that include client pipelines, lead qualification, proposals, presentations, and other client-facing materials.
  • Continuously refine a compelling client value proposition to ensure clients derive maximum benefit from our services.
  • Oversee the creation and management of a timely proposal development process.
  • Establish sales and support processes, including proposal development, controls, contractual instruments, and KPI reporting.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at various organizational levels, leading interactions in complex pursuits, renewals, and expansions.
  • Spot new market opportunities, assess pre-contract risks, and devise appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Lead negotiations with potential customers and partners.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and dynamics, evaluating performance and responding with necessary business adjustments.

Required Skills:

  • Over 10 years of experience in business development, account management, or contract management, with a strong background in the construction sector.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Commerce, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Thorough understanding of procurement and proposal processes.
  • Exceptional negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with CRM software, particularly Salesforce, is advantageous.
