Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Partner, Strategic Initiatives to join our experienced team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for supporting our management team in achieving our business objectives.

Main Responsibilities

  • Strategic Partnership
    • Partner with global and regional leadership to drive business growth and development.
    • Collaborate with the Vice President, Strategy and Sales Operations to develop and refine our strategic plan, setting clear objectives, priorities, and performance metrics.
    • Prepare strategic presentations and visual support for executive leadership.
    • Support sales teams in preparing strategic meetings with potential partners (OEMs, dealers, etc.).
    • Effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals.
  • Commercial Excellence Strategy
    • Participate in the development of our commercial excellence strategy, working closely with the Vice President, Strategy and Sales Operations.
    • Manage and support the introduction of new products, including EaaS, Private Label, OP/FMV Lease, and funding facilities.
    • Keep a pulse on the external market and customer trends, providing proactive sales and marketing solutions to optimize growth and transformation.
    • Design and develop tools and enablers to facilitate decision-making, measure progress against strategic goals, and motivate team members.
    • Foster a culture of innovation within the organization by exploring new technologies, business models, and market trends.
  • Strategic Initiatives
    • Identify and assess potential strategic initiatives, projects, and partnerships that align with our organization's strategic goals.
    • Lead and participate in cross-functional projects that align with our strategic goals.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure our priorities and strategies are adopted at all levels.

Requirements

  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent work experience in development, design, and business administration.
    • A Master's degree in business strategy or project management is considered an asset.
  • Experience
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the equipment finance industry, including experience in project management, business development, or business strategy.
    • Strong business relationships with professionals from the equipment finance industry in Canada.
  • Skills
    • Bilingual (English & French), spoken and written, to participate in meetings with all Canadian leaders and clients, as well as prepare presentations in both languages.
    • Strong abilities to work in a team.
    • High motivation, autonomy, and creativity.
    • Ability to work in a high-pressure work environment with quick turnaround.
    • Strong editorial capabilities.
