  • Collect, organize, and verify necessary information and documentation from various sources to ensure a comprehensive compilation of facts for claims resolution.
  • Review estimates from new and preferred vendors to ensure fair settlements for damages incurred by the customer's vehicle.
  • Contribute to team productivity by maintaining a positive file count and effective open/close ratios.
  • Collaborate with internal partners and stakeholders, as well as external vendors such as repair shops and rental services.

Professional Development:

  • Investigate coverage scenarios and apply this knowledge to customer claims.
  • Understand and embody our customer-centric and strategic objectives while contributing to TD Insurance Group's goals.

Fostering a Supportive Environment:

  • Welcome clients as they arrive at TD Auto Centres.
  • Recognize that each case is unique; employ unbiased and appropriate methods to achieve fair and equitable claim resolutions.
  • Clearly communicate claims processing requirements to clients while maintaining detailed records and providing timely updates on claim progress.
  • Engage as a team member and contribute to a positive workplace atmosphere.

  • Strong time management abilities and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
  • Proven negotiation skills to achieve positive outcomes when feasible.
  • Demonstrated clear and professional written and verbal communication skills, along with effective active listening capabilities.
  • Ability to conduct thorough investigations; adept at analyzing evidence and identifying discrepancies or gaps in data and reports.
  • Support for company process enhancements.
  • Candidates pursuing their Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation or other relevant continuing education are preferred.
  • Provincial claims licensing may be necessary.
