Automobile Claims Representative
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a Team Leader to investigate and resolve first-party automobile claims.
- Deliver outstanding claims support to both internal and external customers.
- Manage auto telephone claims until a satisfactory resolution is reached.
- Clearly articulate the claims process to customers.
- Assess coverage under customer policies.
- Ensure prompt investigation of all claims and work with vendors for effective resolution.
- Maintain comprehensive records and accurately input data.
- Process claims payments within established authority limits.
- Initiate salvage and subrogation processes for assigned claims.
- Meet targeted claims resolution goals annually while maintaining a 100% file disposition rate monthly.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a high school diploma.
- Experience in managing automobile claims and familiarity with auto insurance policies.
- Preferred background in customer service and call center operations.
- Proficient keyboarding skills and ability to navigate various systems efficiently.
- Professional demeanor, friendly attitude, and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Bilingual candidates are considered an asset.
Salary Range: $42,400 - $78,100
