Position Overview
We are on the lookout for a Claims Technical Consultant to enhance our growing Property division across various locations in the Atlantic region. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in upholding claims protocols and practices, working closely with underwriting teams, and keeping abreast of the latest insurance offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing and refining claims protocols and practices
- Delivering technical guidance to management and teams
- Ensuring uniformity in responses across different teams
- Cooperating with regional teams to optimize standards and practices
- Engaging in committees, meetings, and initiatives related to standards and practices
- Assisting operations during emergency situations
- Staying updated on developments in insurance products and underwriting
- Contributing to the revision of insurance documentation
Qualifications:
- University degree or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with property insurance products
- Over 10 years of experience in insurance claims, particularly in property
- Experience in training is advantageous
- Strong skills in research, writing, analysis, and decision-making
- Capability to lead meetings and projects
- Excellent organizational abilities
- Bilingualism is a plus
