Position Overview
Are you interested in a role focused on Quality Assurance at Procter & Gamble? We are seeking a QA Import Compliance Technician to ensure adherence to Health Canada regulations for all imported regulated products, including but not limited to: Drugs, Natural Health Products, Medical Devices, and Food.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Health Canada regulations for all imported P&G products.
- Adhere to all site safety protocols and uphold company values.
- Exhibit expertise in Canadian Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and daily operational processes.
- Deliver results with excellence.
- Foster a positive team culture.
- Utilize logical reasoning and assertiveness in decision-making based on risk assessments.
Additional Responsibilities
- Review and authorize the release of regulated products imported and distributed by the P&G Brantford Mixing Centre.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely product releases for new initiatives.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Develop and assess Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree or diploma, preferably in a science-related field.
- Familiarity with Canadian drug and natural health product regulations.
- Proven ability to manage a quality system, including monitoring, gap analysis, and driving improvements.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve conflicts efficiently.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in various computer applications, including SAP and Veeva (asset).
- Strong digital skills with tools such as PowerBI and Microsoft Office (asset).
- Must comply with all safety regulations.
