Job Title: Visitor Services Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Visitor Services Coordinator to join our team at the Bank of Canada. As a key member of our Visitor Services team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional visitor experiences and promoting a better understanding of the Bank's mission and activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver educational programs for visitors, including guided tours, workshops, and interactive activities.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of curriculum-based educational programs for schools.
  • Collaborate with the Interpretation and Outreach team to create engaging and informative content for visitors.
  • Provide training and support to Museum Guides to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Contribute to the evaluation of visitor experiences and provide feedback to improve services.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field (e.g., education, public history, museum education & interpretation studies, museum studies).
  • Minimum of one year of work experience coordinating services to the public and a minimum of two years of relevant programming experience in a museum or public setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and flexibility.
  • Language requirement: English and French essential (bilingual) with a minimum starting level of functional (level 4) in second official language.
