We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Visitor Services Coordinator to join our team at the Bank of Canada. As a key member of our Visitor Services team, you will play a central role in delivering exceptional customer service and educational programs to visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver educational programs for visitors, both in-person and virtually
- Coordinate daily operations of the Museum, including scheduling and resource allocation
- Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and addressing concerns from visitors
- Assist in the development and implementation of curriculum-based educational programs
- Collaborate with the Interpretation and Outreach team to create engaging and interactive experiences for visitors
- Evaluate visitor experience and provide feedback to improve services
- Supervise and support Museum Guides, including scheduling and training
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field (e.g., education, public history, museum studies)
- Minimum one year of work experience coordinating services to the public and two years of relevant programming experience in a museum or public setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evening shifts
